"You charged me $200 for someone to come out to quote me on a AC install while no maintenance work being done. The quote they gave me was outrageously high compared to other quotes i received. Also the people you sent kept trying to push a financing plan that was appallingly high if anyone merely runs the numbers. I was told that Strogen was a family business, but it seems they have been bought out by someone else. Your business seems to be a scam. I'll never use your "service" again."

"This is the second time this service "Expert" has come to my house. He is EXTREMELY aggressive and condescending. As a single woman living alone it was actually really scary to have such an angry aggressive person in my house. I called my friend to come over and sit with me while he was working on my boiler. He was yelling and screaming to himself in my basement. He got a phone call and was yelling at whoever he was talking to. This was a very scary experience for me. In addition to all of this, he main-splained everything to me. I honestly just wanted him out of my house as quickly as possible without him getting more angry. I am not a bad person because my boiler and tank need work! When he left he yelled at me and told me that Strogen's wouldn't come back to service my boiler again. I am not sure if he can make that call, but at this point I think I'm going to call a different company. After I left I remembered that last time Ted came to my house he lost my check and Strongen's had to bill me. Finally, I looked up the prices of the parts he put into the boiler. I think Strogen's pricing is extremely high. I have been working up the courage to call your customer service about this experience. I've been very upset about it for days."

"I just discovered that the technician that came in June to maintain my AC unit left the AC setting in my basement at 62 degrees, which caused by electric bill to soar. I don't use my basement to live so I only caught this when I checked my thermostat during the recent Arctic blast. In addition, I learned from Brian who came to maintain my furnace that I could have been paying $120/year for my membership vs the $374 I paid in one lump sum. That I had this option escaped me; I think I assumed that I would be getting much less by paying just $10 a month. I am so upset by these 2 things that I just learned."

"Normally you are great, but on a recent emergency call it took 24 hours for someone to arrive. I got a call center on a weekend who didnt have a clue. The first technician mis diagnosed the problem and said someone would show up first thing the next day. Never got a call and no one showed up even though I called and they confirmed. I bought and replaced the part they said was bad and it wasnt. The next day not the weekend finally got a competent technician that diagnosed and fixed my heat in under an hour including waiting for the heat to come up. Then when I thought we were good I got the bill that was ridiculous and was told that it included my member discount. Less than an hour for a $200-225 part I could have gotten at Home Depot or online and it cost me almost $700 with discount. Thats just robbery especially when I didnt have heat for almost 3 days."
