Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this remarkable event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this amazing cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s riding club rides every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
